Took N after weeks of research and planning and as we all know things don't always go to plan was found approximately 22 hours later, fell into a coma for a bit but here I am back and NOT better! Figure I make some use of my experience so if you guys have any questions use me while you got me because I won't be here for long.

Did you regret it? Did the doctors test you for any organ damage/failure?

At first I honestly did, I thought I was stupid for trying to leave and by one of the most peaceful ways possible at that I felt like a quitter and a failure then tried to so hard to get back up but then it all came back to me. Nothing permanent, I was definitely in horrible shape the first week, My biggest problem was no brain activity. I have a healthy diet and am very physically fit so that played a big part in my recovery.

God, 22hrs in?! That's really scary! Thanks for offering yourself up for questions.

It would be really helpful to know how much you used, how they treated you for it and how long you'd owned your N and how it was stored.

I guess, like you say, your healthy physical attributes must have played a part in your survival.

I ordered 2 but only drank 1 as the other was still held in customs at the time and no I did not unfortunately but the doctors found the barbiturate's still in my system after a test very early in my comatose state so I guess you could say they tested it for me lol

More efficient planning, Once you have the key to the test it's pretty hard not to use it and I feel that was my biggest mistake

It was great, I had my music playing in the dark with a smile on my face, people say the taste is horrid and it makes you throw up but I honestly didn't mind it at all. Kind of reminded me of the smell of nail polish remover but not nearly as bad of a taste as everyone makes it out to be. There was no pain whatsoever I just remember one minute I was content in my dark room with nothing on my mind but the lyrics of the song and the next I was all doped up in a hospital bed weeks later.
Did he ship two bottles separately? Is that a thing he does
It was separate orders

@miamartian2 so you don't remember a thing from the coma? When you woke up did you know what had happened and remember you had taken the N straight away?

Ofc! that's the least I can do, I used one bottle they aren't the biggest but you can find the size description and more in the ppeh, they tried alot at first they took it as a heroine overdose then proceeded to benzodiazepines then finally decided to actually give me a test and found out it was barbiturates I just played dumb after I woke up and they couldn't do anything about it. I took it the night I received it so storage wasn't really much of a concern.

I was really woozy when I first woke up, I was conscious but not there if you know what I mean. That lasted about a day and the day after when I finally gained back my consciousness I felt real high I'm still not sure if it was the barbiturates affect on my brain or everything they shot up my iV but it was an interesting experience to say the least.

I read in some article pentobarbital overdose is pretty rare and the docs don't necessarily know to test for it-I remember in this one article they treated for phenobarbital first instead. No offence but at this point when you've clearly survived it and you presumably want as few side effects as possible, why wouldn't you tell them what you'd taken?

What's your height/weight, and did you do any other drugs that may have interacted with the barbiturate?

I wasn't conscious when they found out it was barbiturates I've been hospitalized before and wasn't going to go through that again and the team was already implying I took the barbiturates to end my life so I just told them I was unaware of the cause and they believed me

6'0 168lbs and no I do not use at all although that was a pretty well suited exception

That makes sense now, so it looks like you were successful in dodging any follow-up by the hospital/mental health team, good work!

Thanks @miamartian2 for providing this info and sharing your experience. This is only the 2nd case I have ever heard of where someone survived after taking N.
Why do you think you survived?
Who found You?
was the N not strong enough?
Or didn't take enough?

Thanks and sorry you had to suffer through this. 🤗

No problem and that's crazy I'm sure there's tons more out there maybe just just didn't end up coming full circle like the 2 you've heard
I survived because I was found too early, I didn't show up to work and wasn't responding so a Friend/coworker checked in and the rest was history.
I believe it was both strong enough and the amount was good I was just found too soon.
And no problem! It's no one's fault but mine no need to apologize

I do, and the more the merrier if you have the funds I don't see why not

Thank you for sharing, it sounds like it was a difficult experience and it's very kind of you to share to inform the rest of us.

How long were you in a coma afterwards? How long did you spend recovering in the hospital after waking up?
