Method Methods for when privacy/discretion is NOT a concern

Something that comes up a bit is that many of the methods most discussed on this forum are popular in part for their low profile. Many people live with family or roommates that might notice materials, an absence, or check in too early. These are very valid concerns and it makes sense that they would affect the way methods are evaluated, especially within this community.

However, for those of us lucky enough to have zero concern about this, I feel like it can be difficult to make accurate evaluations for ourselves using the forum because these factors are built in, even though they don't apply to us! For example, if the concern of not being found or the materials not being noticed weren't something a good chunk of the forum had to worry about, I wonder if SN would be a much less popular method. Maybe inert gas would be more popular, but because lugging a large gas into your home might alarm your family or roommates, the exit bag is not a big go-to.

My question is for those of us having difficulty accurately evaluating potential methods for our own use when these concerns thankfully don't apply to us. I'm very grateful that I am in a position where I live alone, and additionally cost isn't a huge concern either (I mean, I'll be dead, but I can afford a firearm upfront, for example). But do we think there are methods better suited in terms of quickness, painlessness, and simplicity/ease of preparation that aren't discussed as much or a user might not realize they should look into, if they don't have to worry about not being noticed?

I still think SN would beat exit bags and overall gas methods even in lone-living samples simply because I imagine people feel a bit more scared of a bag/mask on their face with a large tank next to them than a potion that'll soon kill them.

I don't think there is much difference honestly. Firearms and overall gases are simply more applicable. My method will be SN despite living alone although I have considered CO and exit bag before.

The quickness people chase to not be caught/saved can be the same quickness you and I chase to ensure a quick death for example.

That makes sense. I likely have the source for SN that people are using, but don't intend to use it due to my own reservations about the compound based on accounts I've read here and elsewhere that make me question the peacefulness. I don't mind it actually taking a bit for my method to kill me, within reason, as long as the chances of me waking up during that time are nil.

I've used a number of recreational substances that occasionally required really specific steps to administer (no injections though or I bet this would be a much easier process) and wonder if I might be chill about basically hotboxing myself with the stuff, but for personal reasons don't really want to gas myself. Still, it seems like it might be the best method, whether through inert gas or exhaust, etc. However, I don't have a closed garage and my car is only 10 years old, so I don't know that even with a tube running into the car and taping the windows like has been done before would actually be effective, either. I don't trust myself to do the charcoal thing right, either. I do have a CPAP machine though that I wonder about somehow rigging to be an exit method.

I do have a firearm but it being a .380 this forum and outside research has kind of psyched me out. Logically, I know the low caliber probably is still lethal when I shoot a hollow point right above the ear pressed to the skull, because of the gasses, and the data really applies to the differences of stopping power when various calibers are fired from a short distance, but crikey. Discussions on here also have me wondering if I'll be lying there for minutes or hours with half a brain. I mean, JFK wasn't even dead immediately after the headshot, right? And his noodles were in his wife's lap.

I'm leaning towards hanging, pun intended, though with my luck I'll end up not passing out! I just worry I'm overlooking a method.

Kennedy was dead as soon as he was shot, for sure. All movements after the shot were involuntary.

This forum over-exaggerates a lot of the stuff like failures etc., they're way too hyped up about a perfect method when there is no such thing. A .380 to the head is going to kill you. I know a surgeon and his wife is an EMT, she has said that in one of many street shoot-outs in the US that she's had the displeasure of being on the saving end of, two victims were shot by a .380 once each, and each of them died. You do not want to be shot with one if you value your life... which we don't. I don't know why .380s get such a bad rep by people.

A .380 is lethal. Try shooting it through fluids or gels and see how brutally it rips through it. It will no doubt kill you.

Hanging is always a solid choice if you can get through the initial pain. SN is effective, not entirely peaceful, but it at least gets the job done and shouldn't usually cause much pain.
