I was close friends with @mahakaliSS_MahaDurga. She was wonderful to me and she was a great conversationalist.

Her death came as a complete surprise to me as she told me she was on the road to recovery, and that she was going to try to make the best out of her life. She had mounting issues in her life and the medical system failed her. Her primary care doctor refused to let her take sick leave despite COVID-19 spreading through out the school. Her supervisor, a principal, refused to let her work from home despite there not being a need for her to commute a hour to sit in an empty office. On top of all this, she had numerous medical problems and have experienced lots of trauma in her life. She suffered from BPD and she have attempted many times before.

One of the main catalysts that I believe pushed her to suicide is when FixThe26 decided to dox her on Twitter. That day, she panicked heavily and was angry. FixThe26's reckless actions only put more stress upon her. She doesn't see herself as a victim, and neither did I. She fought for what she believed in, and was always vocal and open when something didn't seem right. I only wish that I had more time to speak to her. There is another person (a banned user here) that I will not mention in this thread, that gave her information over to them and betrayed her trust. She's been wronged so many times in her life that she felt that the only way out was suicide.

I know that many people here didn't agree with her politics and neither did I, but I think we need to recognize that people of all ideologies, racial groups, and sexual orientations suffer. Even people that you may not agree with.

I just can't believe she's gone.

It's so sad that @mahakaliSS_MahaDurga is gone and that the fixthe26 mob doxed her and pushed her to killing herself. Weird but she looks very similar to how i imagined. It's always sad when a prolific member ctb. The fixthe26 think it's very cool to dox and bully us suicidal people when many of us like i do just want to avoid extreme torture and are in hell . They took away the old domain and i was devastated but got lucky and found the new domain for this website ss: many others haven't found it again.

I'm not a death cultist nor anything . I don't care what someone else does in their own personal life if they want to live or die or have children or not is none of my business. All i know is i have huge problems and will be in torture soon if i don't commit suicide. I've analysed this rationally for years applying rigorous rational analysis , pros-and cons lists, first principles, Decartes method, etc. The List of cons to my living are numbering in the thousands for me imo. My reasons for living zero 0. So for a pro-lifer to tell me they know me better than me and that my decision to commit suicide is wrong is ridiculous.

This is so sad. I definitely clashed with her and disagreed strongly with some of her viewpoints and her ideology, but I also admired her determination to try to recover and overcome her demons despite all she had been through in her life. I'm shocked right now. I just hope she's at peace now and that this was truly the route she wanted to take in the end :( it's so unexpected.

As a side note I think it is pretty distasteful that part of the fixthe26 logo is the crosshairs of a gun, as if they are hunting suicidal people. I hope that they see the light one day and cease their crap but that may be hoping for too much. It does seem like their goal is to push suicidal people closer to the edge in the typical way that pro-lifers are hypocrites.

This surprised and saddened me as well. I thought she was having success with her recovery. Anytime someone disappears from the site I always hope it was to recover.

I know that many people here didn't agree with her politics and neither did I, but I think we need to recognize that people of all ideologies, racial groups, and sexual orientations suffer. Even people that you may not agree with.

Politics no longer play into the equation when someone is gone. The loss of life supersedes any of that.

I just can't believe she's gone.

I mostly knew Mahakali by reputation, as I'm not a frequent poster. My impression is that she was very insightful and articulate. Whatever her politics might have been (I have no idea), she seems to have provided understanding and comfort to other users with her non-political posts. I'm very sorry to hear that she lost the hope and will to live that she'd managed to gather together. She had it taken away, by the sound of it.

Does anyone know the gist of what she expressed in her final letter? There was obviously something she wanted to leave the world with. A pity that opportunity was taken from her too.

I am shocked and saddened by this. Antonia was the only person on this forum I had the privilege of face-timing with.
I will never forget the conversations we had back in the summer 2020..
The community has lost an intelligent and interesting character.

I will miss her. During the few months we chatted regularly I felt happier and actually less suicidal. What a goddamn shame. I was hopeful. But she's in a better place now.

Edit: I've always been fine with memorial threads but I remember that she said she didn't want one for herself? I wonder if it might feel appropriate to delete the thread after a few days. Just thinking out loud really.

Oh my gosh, I am devastated. What a huge shock. I watched it all unfold between her and *banned user* and the chaos that ensued.
She held herself together with dignity and poise throughout and was a huge credit to herself and the community. I hope she died in the knowledge that we had her back until the end. I am heartbroken for her, and angry for her too, this should never have happened. We are a family.

I am so, so very sorry to hear this. I have followed a lot of her postings and she had such incredible inner strength. One of the last ones seemed so inspirational and as if she had gained renewed purpose. This is a sad day for many on SS. The harassment and other cruel treatment that she received from that outside group, and the one member, is just totally disgusting. We can have differences but there is no excuse for not addressing it in a compassionate manner, regardless of how far apart we are on an issues. My heart goes out to her.
