Venting I’m not mean, I’m just hurt

I rarely smile, I don't speak unless spoken to and when I do my responses are short and direct, I often miss/ignore social cues, I suck at complimenting and comforting people and it takes me at least 24 hours to text back. It pains me to know I'm not perceived as nice or friendly but it takes way too much energy to put on a smile, and I'm very, very tired

I'm the opposite. I put on a smile in public. No one knows how ill I am. I don't respond to text messages quickly either. Everything is a pain in ass when you're depressed. Nothing is enjoyable.
