It's really hard to explain... But with the people I've loved throughout my life, it's a different flavor of love. Sometimes, it's subtle, other times it is not.

For me, there hasn't been THAT many people I've love.. but enough to notice differences. I loved things about each woman, sometimes the same, sometimes radically different. One gf I had had THE BEST sense of humour for me. We'd finish each other's sentences, even after dating just a couple of weeks. But another person I loved, I loved her intelligence - still is the most smart and intellectually observant person I ever met.

All of those differences make up 'textures' for me. And when I loved them, I loved their whole being made up of different pieces.
