Recently, I've found myself getting mad at everything and everyone. Everything's become a bother, everything's become annoying. It might just be the holiday season, but I just keep getting angrier and angrier as the days go by. I feel frustrated at any slight inconvenience, and I keep lashing out whenever something bothers me even a little bit. Idk what I'm trying to achieve by making this post, but I'd like some advice or explanations if anyone has any.

I feel exactly the same sometimes. even the smallest things annoy be beyond normal. depression can manifest as anger and irritability, even though most people think of it as 'just' sadness or feeling terrible. some people externalise it by lashing out and some people internalise it and take it out on themselves by feeling a lot of guilt or shame. I guess thats a brief explanation. even though I go through the same thing I honestly dont know how to deal with it. I just cut myself because I dont know what else to do. I get angry when people suggest self help stuff like take a bath or whatever because it doesnt actually mean anything to me, but it might to you. if you have anything, even if it distracts you momentarily, you can try to do that and work from there. I hope my words help you and I hope you can deal with it
