Venting I always knew I'd SH. A rant.

Hey all, anyone else here always just know you'd eventually resort to cutting? Or planned it out for several years just in case?

I recently (half a year ago) started cutting after a particularly bad day, and I've been cutting almost on a daily basis since. Problem is, I was forced to move back in with the family, so I was really worried about them discovering it. Luckily, I almost always wore long sleeves or hoodies ever since I was around 13 so that people wouldn't suspect anything if I just cut out short sleeves altogether.

Now, it feels comedic that not a single person has noticed in my huge family of eavesdroppers that know nothing of privacy. I even get a nice hit of adrenaline when someone bursts into the bathroom when I'm taking a shower or washing my hands with my sleeves rolled up, knowing full well that it takes just one slow reaction to doom my future independence lol

Even worse is that one of my deepest (and oldest) cuts that still hasn't closed fully even months later (probably needed stitches tbh) is right next to my wrist and is easily visible when my sleeves shift, yet again, I am saved by their lack of good eyesight and full on belief in the narcissistic mask I show them.
