What's messed up is that the forum gets blamed for people dying but those people were suicidal before they found the forum. It's so demeaning. I don't want my family/community thinking I died because some website told me to, No freaking way. I've never been told once to go kill myself on here, it's just a place to vent really. I'm suicidal so I sought out an appropriate platform with similarly minded people.

I've had this exact same thought for a while, I think it's ridiculous SaSu is often framed as an "incentive" for suicide, I'd bet most people on here if not all had already suicidal tendencies before knowing the existence of this site. As you said and as it's the case for myself, I wanted to interact with people that had a similar mindset to my own, I'm already eager to kill myself for my own reasons, I'm not suicidal cuz someone on here told me death is better than life or something like that, brainless people that think we're all part of a trend, that think we don't have critical thinking, that think we don't actually have a background which causes our crave for ctb, people that think like that piss me off so much, they're so self centred.
Yes exactly!!! Like we are in a mindless cult or something, it's incredibly demeaning. Insulting too given that we have real, sometimes terrifying issues that put us here that should be in the spotlight instead of this forum. Makes us look stupid and that we lack any personal agency.
Obviously quite a lot of people but that doesn't mean the site was responsible. A lot of Facebook users have died.

I think it's probably silly to say they "died" here but among former users its in the high hundreds or thousands.
