So after watching this vid I am trying to replicate what they used on the first girl:

Here are pics of options? A little embarrassing having to shop for BDSM but I want to know if any of these are viable options and if so which one(s)? Asking about both the collar and leash but if not the leash, would the collars work and if so which ones? Thanks in advance.

Doesn't say. I can see that the collars are detachable and I might have something a little sturdier for the noose part. I'm not sure about the collars themselves. The pink one is furry so it would be soft. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing when it comes to this?

If they're good quality, then because of what they're for, I think they should be able to tolerate at least a decent amount of force, but I'm not sure how much... If it doesn't say how sturdy they are in the product description, maybe you can find some reviews that would? I'd imagine that's important for them

Isn't the point supposed to be having a ligature that constricts when weight is applied, in order to constrict the carotid arteries (blood choke/asphyxiation) rather than something static that will only crush the windpipe (suffocation) and prolong suffering?

Well I think the same thing but if you watch the vid (she has something similar around her neck and after inquiring it is a BDSM collar) she loses consciousness relatively quickly and I don't see her gasping or choking? Any input on this is appreciated.

I guess it's down to personal preference at the end of the day.
Personally, I'm going with rope in a noose knot.

It doesn't matter. Electrical cable, rope, silk stockings, a BDSM collar, whatever; it's entirely a matter of practicality. If it supports your weight, you can hang yourself with it, and as the video says you will die, maybe with just enough to time to realize it's really happening. The choice of ligature is entirely a matter of taste, and if you are serious about ctb it shouldn't be an issue. But you don't want to start a macabre fashion trend that makes it easier for impressionable hormonal youths to go through with hanging themselves, by all using Hello Kitty pink fluffy BDSM collars or something.

I feel like the things in the bottom would maybe be too wide to exert enough pressure at one place and if u want to do full hanging it could maybe prevent your neck from snapping whicj makes death take longer and be more painful… the slim

Yes, I think I wrote about the ankle strap.
But then one forum participant sent a close-up photo where it was clear that the girl had a belt around her neck for sexual games.

And the difference between these straps is that the ankle strap has no lining. That is, it is completely flat.
And the belt for sex games has a lining, which probably helps to squeeze the neck almost like a human hand.

Yeah, looking at it more closely it looks too large and padded for an ankle strap (I have a few myself and they don't look like that).
