Is the person who shot himself in the head with the pistol more likely to die, or the one who jumped from a floor 12th floor or higher is more likely to die

Ummm I think both of them would die easily but they say a headshot is always more effective.

I can honestly see myself combining the two since I've heard of ppl surviving by both separately.

Statistically, gunshot to the head is the #1 most fatal method of suicide. So gun

Survival depends on how you shot yourself and depends on how you land when jumping. There's threads on proper location with gun. Through the mouth and tilted upwards towards the middle of the brain. I'd prefer gun over jumping, but I'm scared of heights.

From all my research, I believe gun most likely, but it really depends on the gun or in the case of jumping how you land. I would think both would be fatal, but I narrowed it down to the gun for me. I'm looking forward to eating that bullet.

Gun because it's faster and you probably have slightly less of a SI with it. Plus no one will be around.

Isn't there any full proof method for gunshot? I know people survive but it's expected from people not knowing how to or not planning ahead.

I am hoping a shotgun in the mouth is fool proof because that's how I'm going to ctb. I know nothing is guaranteed, but after all my research, it seemed like the best bet.

Both of those will cause pain for a person before they finally pass. A shot would be quicker if a person destroyed the brain stem enough thus causing a quicker shutdown. The jump will hurt longer. The person would feel every bit of the fall before the body swelled, while having broken bones AND nerve endings AND broken lungs. Sometimes a fall can take hours to pass from. This depends on a few factors of course. Both could take a long time to pass from after the injury. Also both can be possibly survivable. ❤

How about standing on the edge of a really tall building and shooting yourself in the head?

I like these types of ideas. Using a double method is very smart if somebody REALLY REALLY is ready to go. Just like hanging/partial with an exit bag.
