Iv yet to see it discussed.

But what are your views on getting a wild animal to CTB for you.

Like purposely swimming with alligators and crocodiles
or purposely antagonising a wild bear.

Well, this is a new one. Tbh, sounds truly horrific. Definitely going to be agony and pain. I guess for those who don't care if there's pain, or if it's peaceful, it's an option. I wouldn't want to go out like that.

Pretty unpredictable. Might be a good way to end up with no face like that lady after Travis the Chimp. Also most animals won't give you a pleasant quick death. Great cats will crush your throat and that's one of the quicker ones...but already worse than hanging I think. Something like a bear or a wild boar will kill you slow and painful and honestly a wild boar will probably just maim you.

Getting on a fight with one and then die sounds like fun, I'll give you that!
I honestly remember daydreaming about this, too. Back when I used to ride my bike, I'd go across a few points on the road where a bunch of stray dogs would come run after me, trying to bite my scalps and get me to fall off. I kept picturing me armed with a stick trying to get as much damage on the pack as I could as they bit my legs til I drop and die of blood loss.

I would say it's unethical to get an animal involved.

I guess so yeah since you will be dooming the animal to be hunted and put down probably even if they win. Timothy Treadwill got multiple bears killed because one ate him, including innocent ones.

Yeah, the big cats go for the kill first and are the way to go. India has a fair share of man eating tigers in the wild. Bears eat their prey alive and this has happened to humans. Gators and crocodiles also swallow live prey but a person may get lucky and drown during the death roll. There's lots of deaths in northern Australia and SE Asia from salt water crocs. They're particularly dangerous and I've heard they will learn a persons comings and goings for days before ambushing them.

In the western US, mountain lions are pretty aggressive. Brown and grizzly bears if not hungry, a mother with cubs will probably kill someone coming upon them. I have an ethical problem with putting oneself in harms way of a predator as they are usually tracked down and killed after killing people.

A moose could definitely gorge a person to death. Hippos, rhinos and cape buffalos can easily kill a person.

I would not mess with any kind of primate, they will tear you apart in every way possible.

Komodo Dragons - These are downright scary. Their saliva is toxic so after biting you they will slowly follow you until you collapse and then eat you while you're weak but still alive.

Venomous snakes - Cleopatra supposedly ctb using the bite of an asp. Snake bites are notoriously for being excruciatingly painful though.

Swimming in the Amazon river offers many opportunities to ctb. Anacondas, electric eels, piranhas, parasites, weird insects.

Well. If you don't care about suffering or whether it would be successful, I suppose it would be one way to try out.

And in case you are unaware, alligators will drag you into water and drown you. I can only imagine how SI would kick in, given the amount of pain that would be felt when a gator chomps down on a limb and starts trying to drag you to it's water source.

Crocs sometimes also drown their prey but will also just rip and tear live "dinner" if it fights back too much.

And you saved the best for last, IMHO. Bears do not bother to kill you first, but rather, quite literally, eat you alive. Research Timothy Treadwell and his girlfriend ?? I think. There is a recording of their mauling deaths in Alaska in the early 2000s.

Additionally, if you involve an animal(s) and succeed, if your body is found, congratulations because you have just signed that animal's death warrant. It will, most likely, be euthanized (if it is a domestic animal) or hunted and shot (if it is a wild animal).

I would love to climb a tree in the african safari take N and when I fall down, be devoured by lions. That way there won't be a funeral for me. But eating my N-saturated meat would probably kill the lions too

i think about this one a lot. for me the pain is absolutely worth if nobody has to deal with the mess sort of thing. it makes sense to me. i also like it because i would be providing food and energy for the animal and my remains would become part of the earth :) not big on the idea of being buried or cremated. i would love to feel useful in my death.

Being mauled by a bear is one of my biggest fears, because they don't kill their prey before they begin feeding so there are reports of people who have survived bear attacks where the bear mauled them for hours but basically left them alive to maybe come back to later or just to rot there. It's an awful way to die.

This would only be a good idea if you knew a predator was going to snap your neck so that you wouldn't suffer for long but animals aren't factoring the comfort of their prey when they attack.

Yeah I saw a video of a komodo eating a pregnant deer alive that it had bitten...the poor thing took forever to die as the lizard just started on the stomach and took its time.

With snakes...probably depends on the type of venom. The ones that just destroy local tissue are probably the most painful if I were to guess. Some go after the blood, some after the respiratory system etc.

I saw one video where the komodo ate a baby goat alive and I could hear the goat cry from inside it's stomach. I'm still traumatized.

Yeah, the right type of venom is important or else you'll just end up an amputee.

How about donating your body to a medical school? Or to one of the LE programs at University that studies decomposition to teach forensics?

If I had to pick, I'd say a bear or a shark would be the fastest and probably least painful way to go here. In both cases, you'll probably pass out from blood loss pretty quickly

I imagine whatever animal it is may well be hunted down and killed if it's picked up a taste for human flesh- so, I think it's really unfair on the animal.

I imagine a number of animals will eat things alive too so, doesn't exactly sound like a clean death. Many have the sense to be scared of us too I would think.

I've fantasized about finding a wolf pack and either becoming one of them or being mauled to death by them lmao but I know that either could cause problems for the wolves.

Tangentially related but I've had so many weird experiences with deer...
I pet one as a kid and my mom freaked out thinking it would kill me lol
I saw one walk down the sidewalk in my neighborhood at 4am and that was surreal and weird as hell
Saw a dead deer on the side of the road once walking aimlessly cuz mom pissed me off (police brought me home, bastards)
I ran into the woods one night feeling hella suicidal and came way too close to a deer and we scared each other and it ran way lmao

I've thought about the ease of getting trampled by one of the cows, or having a bad fall off a horse or a kick to the head.
There's no large predators here that could get me

Suicide by bear sounds metal as fuck.
Painful? Absolutely
Gruesome? Oh yeah
Complicated? Yes
Probably not a great success rate, and a good chance of being mutilated and surviving.
But it's original, I will give you that
