Discussion Fear of animals/insects/pets

I have a fear of pets/animals/insects. I've tried to become more of an introvert or not leave the safety of a vehicle.
I just find dogs and cats so unpredictable, barking alone is scary, cats meowing equally scary.

I read the odd horror news story today of a woman killed by her own pet dog. Scary.

Anyone else equally afraid? Maybe I'm just becoming gradually afraid of everything. Danger everywhere. Fear of pain anywhere. Sigh.
