Just frustrated here. I went to the clinic to try to get a meto prescription for the SN protocol today. I told them I was feeling nauseous and getting heartburn; suggested I had heard metoclopramide was effective (hint, hint!). They shook their head, asked me some more questions about my symptoms- which I had to pull out from my bum, naturally. How long have I been experiencing nausea? Do I eat spicy food? How are my bowel movements? What's it like when I eat dinner? Have I had a gastroscopy? Ultimately, the doctor wrote me a prescription for some proton pump inhibitors, which I understand are close to useless. I don't know if I could have told them anything that would have made them prescribe meto, or if it was a doomed effort from the start. Of course, the fact that I live in China probably doesn't help.
It's not entirely lost. I've read that it's possible, just more difficult, to CTB without meto- and I do have the SN. Still, I think I need to look into other options (if I find a hotel with something that lets me try partial hanging, could be a backup). But man, it's frustrating.
