I still live with my parents and can't drive. I plan on doing it with a partner in another city but I found this:
"There is no waiting period for filing a missing person report in Canada"
I know my parents are going to and
I'm really worried the police are going to find me

My friend did it that way, the housekeeping lady was in shock, think about them too. Even though it's a clever idea.

maybe if you stay at home and wait until midnight? depends on the method of course but if your parents sleep until maybe 7 you have 7 hours

why wouldn't they wait a few hours? do they know you are suicidal?
if your partner booked the hotel room and your parents don't know them, I'm not sure how can they figure it out. I'm assuming there are at least 5 hotels in your city

Yeah but my partner's family could find out, or they could contact police. Yeah they know.

Yeah but I have a partner too and can't have them in

That's what I want to do, but it's cold here and I'd rather have a comfy bed to sleep in before I die

Depending on how dedicated you are to not being found, there are probably a few things you can do. But it definitely depends on the amount of freedom and options availible to you.

You can tell those around you, your going to a certain place and obviously not go there, but then you can call or text someone, to let them know you got there safely to throw them off.

Something I considered doing before, was sending out a delayed text message after I died, to say my last goodbyes beyond the grave. You could do something simmilar, but use it to make yourself seem alive to get more time. This can also alert others if they send you a text and your reply makes no sense. My parents are not technologically literate enough to text back in my case.

I recommend saying you're going on a trip as previously mentioned in an above comment. Send a text on the day, saying you arrived safely but also have bad reception and probably won't get calls coming through. Then I would setup delayed text messages to fake being alive for a while.

I'm personally not a fan of letting an innocent stranger run into my corpse, so consider if that's something your okay with, and if you have other possible places to ctb.

I hope you have everything planned out in time, better to be sure than to go ahead with uncertain plans.

Sometimes when I plan my way out, I get a slither or positivity and think, "not yet". After enough "not yets" I might be better. Whatever you choose I wish you well.

Even if they file a missing person report, it's not like the cops are immediately going to send out the helicopters with night vision and have the dogs tracking you down. You could be 500 feet away and it would still take them at least a couple of hours to find you.

I don't know much about you or your situation, so I'll just do a lot of spitballing here. Can you ditch work/school and go to the hotel? That'll buy you several hours. Can you sneak out at night while they're asleep? Can you tell them you're going to go see a movie? If your partner was going to pick you up, you could just say you're going for a walk to stretch your legs. Even if they call the cops 15 minutes after you leave, they won't immediately barge into your hotel, especially if your partner books it. If you were taking public transport that gets a little trickier, but make sure you pay in cash and give fake names where possible.

If the method is overdose it could take a couple hours to die, enough time for the police to find you. And they usually find you by tracking your phone

OP could leave the phone in a taxi or on a bus and waste a couple of hours while the police track it. Or destroy it. Or just leave it at home.

That's a good idea, actually. I could leave my phone on and somewhere far away from where I'm CTBing, so the police will search there

Don't take your phone and other electronics with you, leave any note you written with you so they don't immediately call the police and don't tell anyone in the hotel about what you're going to do.
Finally, lock the doors and do what you want, that's it

Can't sneak out, can't tell them I'm going to go out. I can ditch school which gives me six hours, and my method kills people in about an hour usually, but not always.
Don't take your phone and other electronics with you?
Also if you're going to leave a note then just take it with you so they don't immediately call the police and don't tell anyone in the hotel either; Lock the doors and do what you want, that's it
I'm still worried they're going to find me somehow

Do you have any friends with animals? When I was attempting, I told my family that my friend is going out of town and needs someone to house sit and take care of her pets.
