For those of you who experience dissociation - How do you over come it when it comes to CTB?
At times when I attempt and I'm feeling rather depressed/ suicidal, I get to the point where I've set it all up and I have the intention, but then my survival instinct takes over in the form of sudden severe anxiety (even though the thought of death is welcoming to me) and this triggers my dissociation. I then lose access to my emotions, thoughts and memory. This causes me to lose motivation as I feel nothing and can't remember why I'm doing it. I want to get out of the cycle of dissociation as everytime I come out of it, I'm back to feeling depression again. It's a never ending cycle. So any help with this is appreciated!
