I am going to be missing for a few hours before I do it so I can go to a hotel far away. My parents worry about me so if I am somehow found before I manage to do it can I have it pre-mixed in a bottle and just drink it? I know some guy did this before in court and it was on the news but can it get ruined quickly and become ineffective?

SN is not a fast acting poison like cyanide. If you take it in a rush in front of someone or because you were found then you are likely to be saved. I also would not recommend mixing it hours beforehand, it should not be left out for very long after being mixed. I don't know the timeframe but to my knowledge it's meant to be taken within an hour after mixing (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

SN is most certainly stable for at least 24 h after mixing.

Thank you for clarifying, I remember seeing someone on here saying otherwise so I was not certain.

Thank you. Yeah I thought so but maybe it's worth a shot lol, also I found the source of the guy who did it in court and they didn't manage to save him somehow: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...hugged-Texas-court-sodium-nitrate-guilty.html

I guess they just thought it was a normal drink and didn't check on him until too late
