Brown bottle of N... what else could it be?

Hi out there,
might be an uncommon question, but it's important in my opinion. What if somebody asks me about a brown bottle (which contains N) in my fridge? I would prepare it, covered in layers of sheet, cupboard, or something like that to cover it from light, but it still could happen, that somebody asks me about it. I need a good answer for that, so... do you have any ideas, what else could be in there? liquid... in a brown bottle, what has to be kept safe?

The point is... I have to move in another part of my country. I will have to stay in a friends house for two weeks until I can move in my new flat, so... I think I will have to find an explanation for this. Everybody knows about my bad condition, I told him once about my thoughts how much I hate this life, so maybe he will find out and ask questions. Iam afraid he could become suspicious.

From a company selling chemicals, they say: "The product is chemically stable under standard ambient conditions (room temperature)."
Another brand says that the shelf life is 24 month but I doubt it.
It is like yogurt where the limit is often not true. It is often a technique to push you to throw it away and buy more.
It is only my point of view.
I also understand that you don't want to loose this method...

1. First, ask you friend/host what to do. And then make sure they/you tell everyone who has access that it's yours and to please leave it alone: Don't have anyone accidentally "discover" it and try to figure-out the mystery.
2. Of course, remove all the actual labels indicating what it is.
3. Then, tell them, label it, and write a note and wrap the note around the package... that it's something innocuous: like medicine for a painful rash/acne/psoriasis outbreak you sometimes get in your underarm area... or something. That it's really embarrassing and only happens a couple times per year... but if it happens, you really need the medicine... so please leave it in the fridge.
4. Then don't worry about it or act suspicious = forget about it until you're leaving there.

You are an adult? Tell them it is a medicine that needs to be stored in darkness if they ask anymore questions tell them in a polite way to mind their own business.

I suppose temperature fluctuations aren't good, but since N doesn't instantly spoil at normal room temperature and you have to take it ouf the fridge anyway to move it to his, I wouldn't bother for the two weeks and just keep it somewhere safe instead. Better than someone accidentally discovering, meddling or using it, imho.

I guess it could work if I say that it's an embaressing topic and I don't want to talk about it. But that might be not enough. It's the most important thing to me after all. He will be curious, why this has so much value to me.

Another guess I had: I could tell him, that I don't know either what it is and that Iam getting paid to store it for someone else. I could even tell this friend, that he will get "the other half of the money" if he helps to keep it safe. I would pay hundreds of € to keep it safe. Those bottles mean more to me than anything else, except for my mother.

I don't know... There are different opinions about shelflife and storing conditions. I stored it in the fridge for a long time now. Changing that might be a bad idea but I can't tell for sure. I also thought about burying it, but what... if somebody else finds it? Or I won't be able to find it again? I would panic every day.

a quick search on google tells me it has a small amount of alcohol in it to prevent microbes from growing but your version may be diff. so i dont know. im assuming yours didnt come with any labels on it?
