So... My birthday is tommorow anymore I hate my birthday because I hate life and it's a reminder of how long I've been stuck on this planet. How do you guys feel about your birthday?

I hate my birthday, it's the worst day of my life. I wish I'd never been born. Luckily, I won't ever be having another birthday because I'm going to ctb prior to my next one

1st off HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a GREAT global family member. I hope at least it is a sunny warm day for you. My birthday wish to you is a sunny, warm day and you can do whatever you want for the day. 2nd, birthday's for me before this year stink big time, no family or friends. BUT this year everyone here made my day so, so much better and made me happy. 1st time for me in over 55 years, yep I am old, that I felt love and it was WONDERFUL! THANK YOU to everyone here for the birthday wishes, made me cry with happiness. NOW I am sending you @Fthis all my love and support for a happy birthday. It's complicated.

On the one hand, I like my b-days because I always receive some presents at least from my parents and brother and also I buy a popular yummy cake called "chocotorta". (Chocolate cake)

On the other hand, I don't want anymore b-days because they just remind me that I'm getting older and life will only become harder to deal with.
I'm already 33. I can't imagine turning 34. If I manage to do it, I will certainly quote this comment next January haha.

Hope you have a nice birthday.

I dread mine. My (soon-to-be-ex) wife got really aggressive toward me once for feeling down on my birthday. She screamed "if you won't enjoy your birthday, then I will," and slammed the door and left while I was hunched in front of the dryer, in disbelief, crying. But then she came back and apologized and took me to Red Lobster. I prefer that to being completely ghosted by her this year. I don't think I'm going to stick around long enough to find out what hell awaits me on my next birthday.

Whenever I think of my birthday I think of my parents and all the hopes and dreams they had for me when I was born. Now my life is fucked beyond repair and my birthday just feels sad

Birthdays on the other hand, that's like celebrating the day you got beaten up or something.

ugh i hate it. my b day is in late july and i have been starving myself for almost 2 weeks now. i am determined to go before then although i don't know how likely that will be i have just over 3 months to do this and i just hope it works in time.

I've always hated it. I share the same birthday as my dad. I wished i could have had my own day instead.

Nowadays it's just another boring day. We haven't really celebrated it anymore for the past couple of years, maybe I would bake a cake and share it with the family but that's it.

I dread it... my birthday with family means saying "happy birthday" once and then continuing the day just like any other.

It's pointless other than to remind me how my life has been wasted and continues to slip away - due to the choices that my mother made just to benefit her - whilst having a total disregard for my life/future/prospects whatsoever.

I hate it. I haven't celebrated it for many years. I hate aging. I turned 24 last month and its sad that I'm still alive.

When I was younger I liked my birthdays, because I didn't think about the age too much and I just looked forward to presents.

Now I don't like them at all. I really hate getting older. I don't enjoy the presents anymore, because nobody can give me what I really want. I have birthday in this month too and I'm going to be 20. I wish I could ctb before that.

Me too. I had dreamed about it when I was younger, but when I was 27, I was naive and in love. I didn't know my wife was a cheater at the time or I might've.
