What do you plan to do with your social media accounts, PCs/phones/tablets, and other possessions?

Are you going to delete everything and erase as much of your existence as possible? Are you going to give login info to trusted individuals to preserve them? Are you going to burn pictures and give everything away or do you plan to let family and friends decide what to do with them after your passing?

I'm a rather sentimental person so the idea of destroying it all makes me quite sad, I want my loved ones to find me where they can still. My brother already has my discord login and I plan on giving him all my other social medias info so he can keep those memories. I'm also going to leave my phone and pc intact to my brother so he can access everything that was part of me whenever he misses me. As far as my possessions go, I've already started giving some away but the majority I will leave for my family to go through and let them have pieces of me and my life. I just can't imagine destroying everything I ever was, I don't want to be remembered as a suicide but I do want to be remembered.

I haven't thought about social media but definitely plan to nuke email, phone, computer. Don't actually know how effective most of that is but will try.

Probably not. People would know I died. I have very little to hide besides what I said here (if I CTB I might just log out). Most of my online chats are video game talk. I used to vlog and love photography. I don't want to grieve (though it is inevitable), but I want them to remember me as a person.

And just in case I fail, I don't want to come back to nothing. Would be hard to rebuild.

I'm working on this right now. Deleted everything except Reddit yesterday. That one might make it since I'm sort of anonymous. Literally working on a will as we speak. And then I wrote a python script to go through my iPhone contacts and output a csv of people who should be notified when I die.

I'm pretty sentimental too so I don't think I'm going to do a full sweep, I've cleaned up a lot but I'm going to leave my accounts for memories. Planning to give my log in info to a trusted friend. Also cleaning my computer and planning to do a reinstall but leave my second hard drive of memories, like videos, pictures... even memes and some movies and stuff. Just makes me feel better to do.

Yeah, I don't have anything much of value anyways. Only thing really worth holding onto for me is some ancient gameplay demos I have but that's about it. Also some really obscure musical CDs I have that you can't find on YouTube. I would like to upload them before I pass

I'm not planning on doing anything with them. All I really have is a reddit account anyway, so there's not that much to really erase. I don't really have anyone to give my belongings to, either. Might clear some stuff off my phone but that's about it.

I basically have deleted all my social media accounts. I have wrote my login for my Old School Runescape account for my brother to use my gear

I will certainly try though there's just so much to delete. I plan to throw out some of my old devices too. I know that even destroyed phones can be restored but they only really bother to do that for criminals. I'm sure if my phone ends up in an ewaste landfill or something they're not actually going to care all that much about me they'll just tear the devices apart for materials.

I am absolutely not interested in what will happen to all that "digital garbage" in the form of correspondence, notes, music. I wrote a lot, essays, poetry, but I don't care about that at all. Maybe I would just leave some of it on a USB to the only woman I I could love as truly, until death.

Not going to destroy anything, just the opposite, my suicide notes have all my laptop passwords, bank accounts, credit cards, any open accounts, pre-signed blank checks, the executor of my Will I've known for forty years

I always planned on deleting every single social media and email account I can access. I don't want there to be any remnants of who I was for a few personal reasons, and to be fair I don't want to be remembered. But I'd only do it if I was sure I was going to do it and if I was sure enough it was going to work.

i will save photos on a flash drive. i will save a list of contacts for my friends/family to let know i beamed up. i will have all my financial info and passwords to accounts in good order for the executor of my will. i absolutely plan to nuke all my email, social media and accounts like "x/twitter" including everything connected to groups like this and others that discuss "controversial topics." i don't want any of my like minded friends contacted and questioned after i CTB.
