I'm assuming you didn't say anything particularly awkward or whatever, but that's something that drives me insane. You see people act like they're reaching out to talk to people, so you offer them company, a chatting partner or whatever, but they proceed to ghost/block you out of nowhere. It's so rude. If you don't think you'll get along with someone, just say so :-(
