Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Anyone else really enjoy ASMR?

I've been listening to ASMR as early as 2010-11. A lot of channels have come and gone but Gentle Whispering is still here and very good. Good mic quality and a wide array of videos. Doesn't really do the kind of videos I typically like though, which is those videos that make me feel like I have a girlfriend
Thank Satan that bullshit fad lost it's appeal for mass media, and was replaced for new bullshit fads like nurses shaking their ass in a Chinese app during "a global pandemic".
Reactions:
UnrulyNightmare, eggsausagerice and Forveleth
The only asmr I ever liked was the sound of turning pages. Those were the only ones I ever watched. I've always liked the sound of page turning for some reason.
Yeah, it helps with my insomnia sometimes. I mainly listen to Gibi or Gentle Whispering, but occasionally I'll watch random people. Zeitgeist has some that don't include talking if that's not something I'm comfortable with on a given day.

We are all sad here, whether you believe the lies that are forcefully fed to you or not. But it's safe to say there's something incredibly delusional about humans regardless of the specifics.

Although I never experienced that tingling sensation, I used to enjoy listening to ASMR videos and audios with calming female voices saying supportive words in the earlier years of the scene (and still do sometimes). It somewhat helped me in difficult moments.
Nowadays it just does not feel the same. Many interesting older authors have quit, the content has become more standardized and commercialized. And in a couple of years everyone would probably be able to generate custom videos like this with the help of text-to-video machine learning models. It seems that the topic has exhausted itself. Or maybe I just grew bored of it. I guess everything good eventually comes to an end.
My ASMR is usually visual, so I like watching those satisfying video compilations. However, I do get tingles from mechanical things, like machines clanking, assembly lines, engines turning over, etc.
Welcome to Blackatomproductions — your source for long-form ambient soundscapes designed for deep sleep, focus, and relaxation. We specialize in unique audio experiences including jet engine sounds (like the B-29 and F-100), rainstorms, hail on tents, distant trains, and flowing streams. All...
I like, I think the channel is called ASMR Shill or Shilli ?
because she's always getting something interesting or funny for example she got a butcher knife massage and honestly I think I would actually get that done too if I had the opportunity/funds
I watch or look for ASMR once in a blue moon if I am having a horrible time sleeping or if I need something funny or odd to watch
YES!!!!!! asmr is sooo good to listen to when i'm lonely and want some ambient noise or when i need something to sleep
i love Emma's Myspace because i like her outfits the way she makes her videos. i watch her videos all the time. sometimes i listen to food asmr but not that often. i also follow Vita Asmr and VIVA ASMR's channel. ben deen and miyu asmr are good food youtubers. reviewbrah doesn't qualify as an asmr youtuber but i like listening to him review food.
I legit can't sleep without it or ambience playing. I need some kind of subtle noise to help me sleep. I'll post some of my favorites when I wake up again.
I enjoy Ozley ASMR a lot!
Whispering gentleman asmr sometimes.
And Musing Mira asmr
And dreamscape asmr is one of my favs too.
And for a while I enjoyed a cop making "tactical asmr". Johnny Q.
Jocie B asmr is nice too.
And Jim5 has amazing asrm. I always enjoy the scenarios/worlds he creates!
When everything is overstimulating cuz of longcovid this fills the day and melts my brain at the same time.
I used to, back when my body was recovering from anemia ( I think being anemic was a big reason as to why I oddly craved those chalk and sponge squeezing asmr vids lol ) but I would watch it for hours. I forgot the channel names but most are still active I think
save
deactivated, if ur reading this from the future hi
I don't care for the nail-tapping or whispering into the microphone type thing, it just feels awkward to me. But I do like the ambiance style videos and music, particularly anything featuring the Silent Hill aesthetic. My favorite channel is Midwich Music. I often put videos like this on to take a nap to, or chill out and have a beer while listening.
Rain helps me during my mental breakdown, particularly heavy rain/thunderstorms; something about them just soothes me, I would sometimes even put on soundproof headphones during uni classes just to listen to a few loops.

It's great, shit's almost like a drug I can't let go from. I used to be really into those GF ASMR comfort audios, but they eventually got way too depressing to listen to. The fading audio once the video ends is really like a punch to the gut and I honestly couldn't handle it lol. I think general sensory ASMR is great though, and at this point I basically rely on it to get the bare minimum of a proper night's rest.
