Living but not really, just surviving

It may seem weird but I like waking in the middle of the night, it is neither the previous or next day. I don't have to face the next day, nothing is the same at this time, things are more peaceful and safe in my head. Mad ain't it, the things I face doesn't seem real. They're are the next day problem, I can seek some solice.

I am wondering do others feel this way too

Of course, night is the best time to be alive, I always have said so, even as a child. There's almost no chance of stress, the ones who do so are asleep, the streets outside are empty, giving you a nice opportunity for a walk with no loud people as interruptions, but best of all is as you described, waking up in the middle of the night, with complete silence, it almost feels as if you are in a completely different place entirely, and that would be great.

Actually this is one of the only situation that prevents me from wanting to CTB. Unfortunately my country is high crime/drugs so this is not possible

I live most happily (if this is a state possibility) at night -

I like this. But mine is the shower. Once I was diagnosed with ptsd I realized why I would take super long showers and just sit in there. It's my safe place. Just me and the water.

It seems going into the distant past a both bath is a big human tradition to provide comfort and relaxation. I read on a website some people who CTB felt like jumping into the water evoked returning to the womb

I'm in the US too.
Risks of night time walk/run in US:
-Risk of becoming a victim of a crime or being hit by a car because of poor pedestrian pathway design
-If you are a minority or even white but poorly dressed you may be bothered by cops
-people who go out at night are viewed as suspicious and boomers sometimes call the cops on people who just stroll through a suburban neighborhood

I agree with all of this!

I am up a good part of the night/early morning so I can sleep away most of the day. It's my survival mode. No responsibilities, no real interruptions and as long as I don't get stuck on a thought, I am good.

Evenings are good for me. My OCD seems to calm down and I can get a little clarity... Mornings however, ergh.

Night. When everyone is asleep and I'm free to browse SS. I've always been a night owl anyway. In addition to the solitude of night, I just hate daylight. Specifically, sunlight. Sunny days are the worst. Too damn bright. If I must be awake during daylight, I like it cloudy. Rainy is even better.

Late night/early hours of the morning is definitely better for me. It's quiet and I'm not expected to interact with anyone. There's still plenty of problems, but it's much better than the daytime.

When I'm showering or at night. Honorable mention for when it's raining really hard because not many people will go outside.

Night. I can relax without demands of the daytime and I also love sleeping so just knowing I can go to bed and vanish into dreams for a while is comforting.

Still here in the middle of the night feeling safe but neither living just surviving. I hate the morning waking up, the heavy head, deep dark thoughts and not wanting to live. I feel shamed/tainted when I should be proud.
I wish you a hopeful peaceful night: I keep hoping things will change bud it stays the same
I hate my life and I need strength to ... cause life ain't worth this feeling. Please give the strength and impulse

10pm to 7am. Possibly has something to do with my disassociative identity disorder. But between these times I'm pretty much worry free. Or as you would say, "safe."

Most of the nights, especially on Saturdays while I'm having some cheap but "powerful" booze!

When I first wake up I have this certain cat (Simon, 1 out of 5) that comes to me and asks for cuddles. For that brief moment I feel safe and like everything could possibly be okay, and that my life hasn't turned out to be what it is.
